Clifford Wren - Founder

Clifford Wren founded the company in 1983 when he was asked by the fast-growing retailer Walmart® to provide a housing for their security cameras. As an inventor and entrepreneur, Wren used his experience in the plastics manufacturing industry and launched his own company, focused on camera housings and components designed specifically for video surveillance equipment. Since founding the company, Wren grew the business from a three-employee manufacturing firm to a multi-million dollar physical security technology company with his son, Andrew Wren, who led the effort to advance the Wren product line from components to software and technology-based solutions.


Andrew Wren - Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Wren serves as Chief Executive Officer of Wren, a company founded by his father, Clifford Wren, in 1983. Wren is responsible for corporate and product strategy, leveraging his more than two decades of security technology expertise.

Wren’s visionary leadership has transformed the company from a manufacturer of security components to a provider of software and technology solutions serving multiple industries including retail, education, government and healthcare organizations. Wren brings deep security industry expertise, an understanding of market requirements and knowledge of customer needs, enabling the company to develop and deliver innovative technology solutions that help customers advance their security, risk management and operational practices. Under Wren’s leadership, the company has grown to a multi-million dollar physical security technology provider.

Wren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Auburn University.


Amelia Fusaro - President and Chief Operating Officer

Amelia Fusaro brings more than two decades of experience in developing strategic go-to-market plans and growth strategies for emerging technology companies. As President and COO, Fusaro directs and executes Wren’s corporate strategy to deliver increased market share, revenues and brand recognition as an innovative leader in the physical security technology market. Having served as a strategic business advisor to numerous entrepreneurial companies, including Wren, Fusaro plays a vital role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and building its executive management team, with a focus on growth, execution and operations. Other career highlights include serving as vice president of marketing for Technologic, Inc., an early-stage Internet security company acquired by eSoft, and as director of marketing for Datastream Systems, Inc., where she helped the company achieve average annual revenue growth of 95 percent, and, as part of the management team, was instrumental in the company’s successful IPO and Secondary Offering.

Fusaro earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science from Furman University.


Erik Becker - Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Erik Becker serves as Vice President of Sales at Wren and Business Development, where he is responsible for direct sales as well as alliance and channel development. Becker has a history of success developing and implementing aggressive growth plans for technology companies. With more than 18 years of software industry experience with highly successful companies including XcelleNet, Saddlebrook Corporation, Becker brings a wealth of knowledge for developing and implementing sales strategies for start-ups, as well as aggressive growth plans for public companies. Becker joined software startup, XcelleNet, in 1989 where he served in various sales and sales management roles, and was instrumental in accelerating the company's revenue that led to its successful IPO in 1994.

Becker holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester.


Mark Lummus - Vice President of Operations

Mark Lummus serves as vice president of operations and directs all activities related to product development, services and support of Wren’s security technology solutions. With nearly 25 years of industry experience, Lummus brings exceptional entrepreneurial, technology and operational knowledge required to deliver solutions to a global market. During his career, he has worked for emerging and multinational companies including Nokia, American Megatrends, and MicroBuilt Corporation. In addition, Lummus founded two technology companies, including venture-backed AppForge, and created award-winning products recognized by eWeek, CNET, and PC Magazine. He has led large-scale development efforts for medical, financial, and mobile applications, and has demonstrated success in developing commercially successful products and executing strategic partnerships with global companies.

Lummus graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Information and Computer Science.


Bret Rachlin - Director of Marketing

Bret Rachlin serves as director of marketing, where he is responsible for marketing initiatives to raise awareness of Wren’s technology solutions, drive demand generation and support new business development strategies. Rachlin brings over 15 years of strategic marketing communications and product marketing experience with hardware, software and technology services companies. Prior to joining Wren, Rachlin served as a market analyst at Verint, formerly Witness Systems, Inc., where he generated in-depth competitive intelligence to direct market positioning and managed analyst relations to raise the company’s profile among industry influencers. Prior to Verint, Rachlin served as a media strategist at Socket PR, where he directed comprehensive public relations programs for start-up and fast-growth technology companies that resulted in editorial and industry analyst coverage for clients, enabling them to gain thought leadership and significant market awareness.

Rachlin holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in political science from Vanderbilt University.


Greg Grote - Director of Engineering and Production

As Director of Engineering and Production at Wren, Greg Grote oversees the specification, development, and production of hardware. Grote brings 20 years of product development experience and 27 years of overall engineering and production-related experience to his role. Prior to working with Wren, Grote worked at leading companies including Westinghouse, GE, ABB, and Aperion Energy Systems, developing products from hydrogen fuel cells to voltage switchgears. His breadth of experience lends both technical and management expertise to operations Wren.

Grote holds two U.S. patents and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.


Mark Kunze - Director of Finance

Mark Kunze serves as Director of Finance at Wren, where he manages all finance, accounting and administrative functions for the company. With more than two decades of experience in finance management for private enterprises, Kunze brings a wealth of experience in directing the financial affairs of growing companies to Wren. Experienced in guiding finance and administration for high-growth companies, Kunze worked with Modern Business Systems, where in twelve years, he moved from Accounting Manager to Controller. During that time, the company grew from $20 million to $140 in annual revenues. Given his extensive experience with financial management for growing companies, Kunze is prepared to ensure the financially sound growth of Wren over the coming years.

Kunze has a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Lincoln University.


Jeff Floreno - Director of Operations and Security Strategy

Jeff Floreno serves as Director of Operations and Security Strategy at Wren, where he is responsible for directing product development strategies, leading Wren's efforts to more closely integrate video and access control, and developing overall security strategies for education, government and retail markets. With nearly thirty years of experience in both corporate and top-level government security with esteemed corporations including Georgia Pacific, 3M and Northrop Grumman, Floreno brings a wealth of experience in project and program management, business operations, security governance initiatives and risk management.

Floreno continues to share his in-depth knowledge of and innovative approach to security with schools, government institutions and businesses that Wren serves. He is active in many associations, and has presented at some of the leading security conferences including International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC) and the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).
